Iv been with you
an torn in two
But i stayed
everyday
i stood your hit
an your blows
everybit
from down below

bruises
covered me whole
black and blue, like coal
every fuse
you broke me down
i felt like a clown
for staying around
even though you beat me to the ground

with me face down
you kicked me
passed out cold
this feeling hurt, it was to old

Dare you'd say
i try an get away
you'd grab a shoe beat me, black and blue

said id never see
the light in me
that it was gone
since the day of dawn...

I guess i thought long ago
that you loved me
you'd say it so
said you wanted to we
US, alli and foe......
but i was fooled
into believing in you
thought i'd seen a light
not the deep dark blue

now as i lay
having not a clue
how deep you are really blue
i do not know
what is coming
i havent the strength to run away
so here i lay
under the fear
of any noise i hear
that it may be you
coming at me with that damn shoe......................
