Taste And See Poem by David Byer

Taste And See

How I know you,
Oh, I know you
To my sense’s delight

I never saw you,
Till I saw you,
Now I can’t help but stare

I never touched you,
Till I touched you,
With caresses so soft

I never heard you,
Till I heard you,
Tender melody’s delight

I never tasted you,
Till I tasted you,
The sweetness of your lips

I never smelled you,
Till I smelled you,
The fragrance of life

Now I’ve loved you,
And I’ll love you,
Till death do us part.
