Tasha Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Tasha

Tasha

Natasha, you
Regardless of Natalia or Tasha
You are in my mind
A cancer, that is to mean tumor

You are well-aware she shouted
She has wanted you out, for long
Mother brought in the Matchbox
Now you are screaming out-loud
“She has brought the Cockroach”

Cockroach in box says: “Get out”
Don’t tell me doesn’t make sense
It surely does; it’s a tactic, a fight
You live in her place; having fun

Natasha
Regardless of names you are called
You are in my mind
A cancer tumor in sick-man’s mind

Oh Natasha
Your eyes; light after-rainbow blue
Show me all of your words; so true

“Is he crazy? ”

No I am not
Not dear friend
You are just Tasha
In your eye I see Natalia
I see Natasha and I see Tasha
In you I see war, killing and fights
I see Vofka’s PTSD; from Afghanistan
You are too young and no matter how bright
Know nothing of thoughts in my Goddamn mind.
It’s symptom; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD.
