Talkin' Bout Somethin' Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Talkin' Bout Somethin'

Rating: 5.0

You took me too lightly
with a look of hate, i found
by the time things hit the ceiling
It would leave me with this feeling
you are always smiling but you are in hiding
take off the mask
and let's all see what it is you're disguising

You like to pretend you're a friend
when I got no friend in you
you really can't make me believe
what my eyes see doesn't deceive
you are always smiling but you are in hiding
take off the mask
and let's all see what it is you're disguising

them lips is loose
Something like diarrhea, it runs
no truth produced
something like gonorrhea, my words burn
you are always smiling but you are in hiding
take off the mask
and let's all see what it is you're disguising

So sad you wanna be talkin' bout somethin'
when you really don't know bout nothin'
it's the lie that you run with
and you'll later regret it
Ain't none of your business
so why would you spread it?
