Taking Vows Poem by Ray Hansell

Taking Vows

Tomorrow together
Both of you will stand
A man and a woman
Together hand in hand

The preacher will read
Words from the Book
Through loving eyes
The both of you will look

You'll share your vows
With family and friends
Vowing to love one another
Until the very end

Your day will be joyful
With food, drink and dance
You'll look at each other
With more then a glance

Right now the love you share
Is as strong as can be
But as the years go by
You'll be tested wait and see

But if love can survive
You'll both make it through
You'll see that love and marriage
Was surly meant for you
