Taking Nothing 4-Granted... Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

Thinking out of the box is not necessarily
a panacea to a garden of long stem roses,
for if it were, what challenge would it pose
in achieving the excellence and accolades.
Thinking out of the box, out of th' gate,
be only victorious when consistence and-
a sense of unblinking urgency is present,
like the runner who is off with the gun,
yet, th' edge he had obtained at th' start
will only result in objectives being met
by running the last leg of the race
like he did the first, at the sound of the gun.
