What am I to you?
A fairy? An elf?

I have bewitched you.

In the bewitching hours of the night
I have taken you.

I am a sprite,
A person of the green,
And I have come at you in full flight.

I have trixed you and trixed you
and sprinkled you with dust until you were mine.

And you? What are you to me?
A ghost? A mirage?

You have possessed me.

In the moments between night and day
You have stolen me.

You are strong wine,
Intoxicating drink,
And have conquered my senses.

You have poisoned and polluted my body;
Now, no resistance remains.
