Tainted With The Same Stain Poem by David Harris

Tainted With The Same Stain

Rating: 3.7

I see good in everyone
and bad in no one at all.
I see everyone as a potential friend,
not as an enemy whom I must defend myself from.
Sometimes friends act with betrayal,
the reasons only they know why.
They accuse unjustly,
for things you’ve never done.
Because one friend might do this,
do not paint the others with the same brush,
or you become just like the accuser,
and tainted with the same stain.

You live and learn my friend, you right of course to see the good in every one, it hurts when some one you thought of a friend lets us down...10

Well then, you are one 'Of the Few Good Men' as the expression says [encompassing men and women] to have the gift of always looking for the good in one...I myself do the same, but more often than not, see only lies and insincereity in return...you should be a happy soul for you see only the good. Must be no 'Zaba 'in your country where 'NOT A SOUL' escapes every facet [well not weight so far at least] of ones lives, ages, addresses, everything back 20 years and leads you to any relative they have except for ones that don't exist. So then, alot of what you believed and admired is nothing other than a sham.....Need to be less judgemental like you are despite the lies so evident....thanks for this poem...marci.xo
