Taimed Poem by rickey bland

Taimed

One
One of two
Me and you
I was born to be free
Free you free me
Running you after me wild instinctively
Chasseing me
Thur fields so green
Meadows of gold
Waters pure sky to blue
Moon whole
Wild me Chasseing you
Tangled mains
Throw you to the ground
I found my chance to dance
Howl with you as the pail moon rains
I remember
Simply you and me are transformed
You and I become one
I remember you
It was blissful
I was full a pride a leader a pack
Time moved forwarded never back
Never cover over the same old tracks
Looking for an ever new den
Keep us warm keep us safe kept us feed in
When wider spaces grew small
A sent I new not called to me
When winter came the sent remained
Called by name
She was fed by hand
Man tamed
Where she was I was
Then put in a cage
Led to rage
Bite with hate
Not to protect my mate
Pack lost to fait
Way to late
As I pace in my cage
Back and forth
Looking out at no fields no green
Nor pail moon light
Crystal water is in sight
I have not seen
No longer howl in the night
Do I remember when it begin
When on that night she trusted me
On thin ice I took my pride
Some have wondered others died
I saw her still blue eyes
Sharp with pain
Hung my head heavy with sham
Here I still I still remain
The same
In my place in my cage
Open the steel bars
Set me free
Are you to tamed to come with me...
