Tagore Song (#38) Oh Mind When You Was Deep Asleep Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#38) Oh Mind When You Was Deep Asleep

(Amar mon jokhon jaglinare tor - )

Oh my mind
When you was deep asleep,
The Soulmate came to your door
And you woke up
Listening to His departing footstep
In the midst of deep darkness
I spend my night sleeping on ground
And His flute rings amidst darkness
So, unable to see him with own eyes

Oh my mind, do you understand
That the person escaping your notice
Cannot be combed by your eyes
Would you be able to find him now?
By going back to the road again?
