Tagore Song (246) I Have Nectar In Soul, Do You Want, Alas Probably Don’t Know

(amar praner majhe sudha ache chaoki)

I have nectar in soul, do you want
Alas probably don’t know
Sweet smell of Parijaat, do you get
Alas, probably could not get that
Shower of love appearing
Alas don’t know that even
Make your mind-peacock dancing
By the calling of the cloud

I’ve intoned string of my Sitar
Receiving tune from tune-origin
Following that rhythm if singing
In your voice with heart and soul
Alas, probably missed meeting
Calls often coming, if replying to
The rocking in today’s Jholon
Your soul don’t respond thus
