Tadaima (Four Haiku) Poem by Waseem Sherif

Tadaima (Four Haiku)

Her eyes speak to me
unbound tenderness of spring,
iris to iris.

Her delicate smile
pulls me out of my empire:
my core of darkness.

She embraces me
invites me to her home
of warm cheerfulness

I am here with her
where 'home' cannot mean elsewhere.
only - me and her.
