Syncopated Rhythm Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Syncopated Rhythm

I've got music in my soul,
Come now, let the good times roll.

Sing for me a Gershwin song,
George and Ira's melody.
One with plenty of somethin'
'coz somethin's plenty for me.

Play out that Rhapsody in Blue
American in Paris too...
His opera and his symphony,
Porgy and Bess ~ Waltzes in C.

Just sing a lovely Gershwin song
Until the far-off mountain rings,
Sing a chorus at Christmas time
With his Lullaby for Strings.

For I've got music in my soul,
Come now, let the good times roll.
