Sylvia Plath's Mirror Poem by Mubeen Sadhika

Sylvia Plath's Mirror

Rating: 4.2

The monolith had a fine
carving with a precious gem
sparkling ornament of jade
pure translucent lucid
epitome of perfect sublime
the elegance of illusion
dissolving in exact plumb.

The frozen pallid crystal
forgetting the semblance
resonating the likeness
of the grace plunging in
the frigid tranquil pond
opaque solid gratifying
the regulatory calibration.
