Sylvia in the pages,
hiding behind the syllables
lost between the lines.

Sylvia in the country,
mothering children
childing madness.

Sylvia in despair,
destroying Daddy
decoding dreams.

Sylvia in the oven,
head full of vapor angels
heart slowing beyond rhythm.
