Swimming Crocodiles Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Swimming Crocodiles

Lagoon of swimming crocodiles
but
as tiny as sperm
glowing as yet
as the night stars that fell
on the sea's bosom.

owls that flew
through red boughs
and olive leaves

that was the sub-conscious
that was transformations
galore
that was dreaming
that was living
the other coin of life
the living
