Sweet Young Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Sweet Young Love

I had an apparition,
As sweet, as sweet could be,
Someone, who only I,
In dreams could really see,
Handsomely fantastic,
With heart yet kinder soul,
Brave and frank, considerate,
Intelligent and bold.

Love invents perfection,
Even though it is not there,
Love is the projection,
Of all we want to share.

I would have loved you deeply,
Had you given me a chance,
But Life not always opens,
The doors to such romance.

If you dedicated yourself to just one, the rest of us would be robbed of you. :)
