Sweet Unity

When born of Light we’re not our own
For though we’ve victory
We’re built upon God’s Corner Stone
To help our neighbour see

Obediently and standing true
Though stormy winds may blow
We’ll help each other born anew
Against the common foe

Interdependent should we be
Lending a willing hand
Humbly serving, willing and free
Towards The Promised Land

For blessed are souls contrite and meek
Hands and heart washed pure
Supporting those burdened or weak
Life’s storms to endure

Let Heaven’s Light be mirrored now
Upon each ailing soul
Praying their knee through Christ would bow
Towards our unseen goal

Let arrogance hinder no one
Nor affluence deceive
Let pride be only in The Son
In whom we should believe

Within the armour of The Lord
Brilliantly shining bright
Taking to hand life’s trusted sword
Stand firm throughout the fight

Hear The Saviour heed His call
Serve Salvation true
Help another if when they fall
As Jesus Christ helps you
