Sweet Sorrow Poem by Ted Middleton

Sweet Sorrow

Rating: 4.0

Oh what joy I get from you
You soothe me with delight
The pleasure I look forward to
When I come home each night

Your curvy lines and rounded front
Relief you give untold
My many hours in your embrace
Are worth their weight in gold

Your silken arms and shapely legs
For me you give your all
So silent and so beautiful
While at my beck and call

Alas - today's the day we part
Despite your years of care
Its out with the old and in with the new
Cause I've bought another chair!
