Sweet Obsession I: Poem by June FeirCruz

Sweet Obsession I:

Sweet Obsession I

Thoughts of you occupy my quiet mind
Thoughts of you occupy my quiet heart
I wonder where you have been
I wonder where you are
I wonder who's been loving you all this time.

Dreams of you invade my sleepy head
Dreams of your piercing blue eyes
Get to me instead.
That's all I know of you
Those eyes also make me blue
And there is nothing I can do
But stare at the night sky up above.

You are my sweet obsession
Better than Swiss Black Forest Cake
Better than my Cesare Paccioti stilettos
Better than anything I have ever owned

You are my sweet obsession
Thoughts of you shoots me up into oblivion
I feel like a giddy child
And I haven't felt this way for so long.

You are my sweet obsession
It doesn't matter if it won't last long
For now we're sitting in a star
And I'm looking at your eyes all night long.
