Sweet Lunchtime Pastry Poem by Marcus McKinley

Sweet Lunchtime Pastry

And I sit here and torture myself
For one glimpse, a single moment
Of absolute vision, day after day
I don't know why but, I yearn for you
Even though I can't have you
I search for that momentary ease of mind
I can only find in your beauty
Truly from you I must break free
But, my mind does not allow me
