Sweet Life Poem by Elena Sandu

Sweet Life

Elena S(*_*) 27 September 2015

Each morning,
be kind to me my love
don't let that cold watch
unkindly stop my dreams at five,
few seconds earlier you
can do its job
waking me up
with only a smile
and a kind kiss tiny and fast.

By lunch
let your tongue slowly explore
the food I packed for you
enjoy its colours and its form
eat mindful, so that you'll honest
teach me your likes and dislikes
I'm always ready to learn
as I so need to also gift
your inside body,
smiles.

At dinner,
love, be kind
pamper my soul
with happy glances
let me sip the peaceful happiness
of moments being slow,
and let me shine.

As for the night,
only the moon will talk
we won't, as our ancestors
could be ashamed
shh... no need for words,
umm... joy, for both.
...But. Today's already gone...
Sweet dreams,
my loving soul.
