Sweet False Tooth (Fun Poem 171) Poem by David Harris

Sweet False Tooth (Fun Poem 171)

How many times have we heard
someone say their sweet tooth
is playing up again whenever
they are confronted with sweet things.

What happens when you have no teeth,
but dentures and you get that craving,
it means the dentist
has given you a new one.

Somewhere in your dentures
you have a sweet false tooth
to help you to enjoy all
the things you shouldn’t eat.
