Sweet Child Poem by Galina Sherkov

Sweet Child

I bet when her Laughter
Filled the room
Somewhere out there
Roses bloomed

Her pale blonde hair
With angels glow
Showed how much she really cared
A light she will forever hold

Her kindness and passion
Will be forever remembered
Her loving was not rationed
For everywhere it was seen and heard

Her light blue eyes
Deep with love and care
Now they watch the world, saying no goodbyes
Watching you from way up there

Dancing and singing
With the angels, maybe one named Beth
Praying and weeping
For those so saddened by her death

Those who will forever
Keep her in memory
For the years to pass by without her
Will pass so slowly

But now she lives up there
With angels in the stars
She looks down on you from up there
Loving you for who you are
