Swallow Poem by Saul McCandless

Swallow

Swallow deep, Mothers juice
It's the truth and is pure
Taught to rape, causiously forgotten
Secret dogs, withered voices
Sirens ahead and too late for mistakes
To appease the nun that is grace-faced and innocent
Like an intimate lung
It comes from her and she cares for it.
