Surrounded by a cloud of deception
Paralyzed by the chill of the night
Seeking warmth from the fire in her eyes
Suffocating from the lies that I fight

A wind of truth blows through the air
My hands can feel it but cannot grab hold
Deceit remains suspended in my circle
Casting a shadow of darkness too thick to unfold

The demons will come to capture my soul
I struggle to escape the evil I face
I can't run, I can't hide, I can't even scream
I am frozen in this time and in this space

The moon is drowning in a pool of blood
Pouring from a wound I created
My hands are soiled but no one sees
In a world that is seemingly jaded
