Surrender Poem by courtney helm

Surrender

I was at a church camp and we had this talent show and i decided to write a poem and present it.

So much going on,
Don't think I can stay long,
Don't know where I belong,
Sick of trying to defend myself,
Sick of all the pretend,
I just need it to end,
All those thoughts in my head,
All the tears that I have shed,
Don't know what's left to do,
Already told Marsha I'm sad and blue,
Already talked to my councelor,
Already told her how I feel,
But she didn't see I was real,
All that addiction,
It'll all be gone,
That's what I'm wish'n,
Because it's all wrong,
Don't they see I'm hurt?
The person that once was my best friend,
Now treats me like dirt,
Now I know what to do,
Surrender,
Let go,
Let God drive
