Surprising Vanity Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Surprising Vanity

what surprises about vanity
is the vain look into mirrors
never tiring of their reflections

I rarely see my mirror image
even when having to shave
I concentrate on foam blade edge

but I dream see clouds
beauty of star glittering sky
colours in new rainbows
