Surprise Form Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Surprise Form

We need to fear from close friends
If their intention is known till end
They can stab you from back
And claim their stake

The sweet words influence
We trust at once
Fall in trap
And finally raped

Such incidences do occur
Due to judgmental error
When we fail to identify
With proof to satisfy

General known people stab
Take advantage from back
Bring in surprise element
By remaining invisibly present

Be alert and keep vigil
When trying to adjust and fill
It is important to think twice
Before receiving assault in form of surprise

Beautiful poem. Meaningful message, especially related to todays society we are living in. Very true said, it is really very difficult to judge who is friend and who is foe. Until and unless one don't get stabs from back, one never realises. Sometimes even after getting a slight hint we overlook because we don't want the friendship to be broken forever. But they think we are fools and when chance comes they stab from behind, which is the worst pain forever, which no one can forget. Sweet words, touching words, make us feel they are very close. But the real intention is very difficult to judge.... I loved reading it. Thanks for sharing.
