Surfer Girl Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Surfer Girl

Surfer girl. She goes swoosh-swish.
Totally tubular now just as in her wish.
The blue white foam and watery tunnel,
At velocities higher, forming a funnel

Surfer girl. You're pretty too,
To surf so hard as you do.
The balance of your body so trembling,
The balance of your body so needing.

You you look at the horizon,
With your surfboard under your arm.
But now look! The swisher is gone.
But here comes a new wave but no cause for alarm.

Surfer girl. You've got everything it takes.
