Sure Why Not Poem by David Knox

Sure Why Not

though do not mistake me for one who indulges in causerie
or causeries for that matter sometimes i like to be a mystery
but in my times of need sometimes i allow the seed
seed, of causerie to take root
sometimes when people want to chat i don't give them the boot
this is one such time
told to you in a rhyme
that is why i say sure why not?
its not like the open book can keep himself from being caught
This is why i decide when i hear the words do you want to chat
that i say yes and thats that
