Supposeto Be Poem by Sahra Hussein

Supposeto Be

Rating: 5.0

I think hard until I feel the beating of my heart,
Breaking the bones that holds me together,
And without them am gone,
Am gone just like when the sun goes down
And darkness takes over me

Dancing with the moonlight, kissing stars
I see what you want from me; I see it deep in your eyes
But I am under the shadow, trying to breathe,
I am on my knees, hands on my hair,
hearing the echo calling me back on the battle
But no! I can't get up, no matter how hard I try

Giving up is not what you are wishes for me
I better let you out my head, better let you out
because loves no fair babe but believe me
I force myself to move on so you better let me go
