Supernova Poem by Marcus McKinley

Supernova

I see you standing from afar
Anxiously waiting prancing on toe
Wishing and wondering how deep we are
And, to what extent our love will grow
As you approach in silhouette
In biased eye, I die for you
In parted lips I whisper this….
I am so in love with you
In warm embrace our souls collide
Radiating shockwaves through eternity
My pounding heart, will not subside
Each moment, you hold close to me
And, your luminous eyes come alive
In conversations had, with just a sigh
Confirmation, your smile brings
I thrive and survive, high on all these things
