Superman Poem by ESPN CHICK

I don't know why I want superman to save me
I don't know why I want him to wipe the tears
Here I am standing out in the pouring rain waiting
I keep standing here trying not to fall apart

I keep waiting on superman to take me away
And I keep saying he's just running late
Deep inside I'm breaking and needing him

Needing superman to come and save me
I don't know why I need him to rescue me
When I know deep in my heart he isn't real
But here I am still waiting and waiting on superman
