you brought sunshine into my heart
for a few months of my life
the sunshine faded quickly
when you said i don't want you for my wife
i cried into my pillow
the tears they did flow
i wanted to know what i had done
to make you feel this way
the only answer you gave
was its not you its me
i feel there is a weakness
only you know you can fix
and if that day and time comes
and we have not grown apart
maybe then one day you will
fully give me your heart
