Sunshine Dreams Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Sunshine Dreams

Rating: 3.0

Sunshine dreams
Warm this soul
Tired of the darkness
Just want to say hello
Will the light keep its company?
How many different directions must I go?

Daydreaming at night
The days keep growing shorter
Missing my daily ray euphoria
Blessing this skin's heating grace
Nature's blessing I miss the most

Take me away
To a blue sky majesty
A white small puffy clouded reality
As I shapeshift each one
With this unlimited imagination
Of endless possibilities
As the day keeps medicating this soul

In the name of a shining whole
Rays of grace always help me grow
Stronger with each mile walked
The scenery ever gifting this heart
Opened and always ready to explore

Yet, the darkness always comes early
These visions grow shorter
Fighting for a bright light longevity
Even if I have to create it within on my own

Sunshine dreams
Fighting for all hope to keep growing
Visions of a placid rapture
All in the mind full of nature's divine
Where dreams are at one with this very soul
The sun is somewhere, I mustn't ever feel alone

Sunshine dreams
No matter where you are
I will walk in your shadows
Your season of emotions
As we learn to adapt to fall and winter's woe
Not to mention the spring's deceiving tears of sorrow

In summer land we shall be
Sunshine dreams
Let us fantasize where we are
The home where the sun always shines above

No matter what
Our seasonal grief will be an afterthought
Our dreams begotten
Into our endless imagination
Somehow, Someway
Upon the wishing of the great skies above

Sunshine dreams, No frozen matter
We shall always be as one

Always basking in the grace of the sun
Indeed, as one

Dreaming beyond the dark clouds above

Sunshine dreams
We shall always be as one!

Dreaming beyond the dark clouds above

Sunshine dreams
We shall truly always be as one

Sunshine dreams, from the greater skies above!

Warmth in dreams of a certain seasonal love

Summerland dreams, I shall see you soon enough!
