Sunset Poem by Kenneth AsamoahAdjei Kordie

Sunset

Rating: 5.0

Every beginning has an end
Like unto the day, so is the night
The creation has a beginning, and so will it have an end
The beautiful day that starts with the morning star ends in a sunset

Stages in life are timely
And as they have an inauguration, so do they have a graduation
These circumstances don't last
They all come to pass
But they are the pieces that make us who we are
Understand this: it's not about how you start
but it's about how you sunset
You may not be responsible for how your day started, but you are responsible for how it will set
Your attitude towards the challenges of the day or period of passage is your key to failure or victory.

O, failure! Who dares believe in her?
The weakest and yet boast of great achievements
Because men have chosen to believe in her than their own ability.
They forget that she was their own creation and is subject to them
O, that men will believe in who they are!
The Victors they were created to be
Nothing was ever made to dominate other than Man
Yet now are they subjected to the creation rather than the Creator
They have lost their path and purpose in the day
So sunset takes them unawares and they have nothing to show for
Be the man that others will hail after your sun sets.

I have seen the sun setting
The end is near, and yet many do not see
What would the Master say to you after the day's work?
What will be your pay?
But your task here is not completed
So work harder with fear to finish at sunset
The Master is coming; he is coming for His harvest
This is sunset.
