Sunset

As dawn turns to dusk
As light turns to darkness
The world shuts her eyes
For her nightly slumber

The colors of red, orange, and blue
Colors of God thrown on canvas.
To create a last goodbye

As the colors leave and darkness
creeps in
I feel peace.
