When the days feel sombre,
look up to the sky;
Even when trapped by clouds
you can harness the rays of sunshine
piercing through sieves;
sparkling everything to life
as it comes our way.
It may take eight whole minutes
to catch up to Mother Earth
but just a sliver of daylight
can brighten eight billion lives.
Throw at it catastrophes countless
and it will rise back up;
unaffected, unblemished
like a Phoenix in Paradise.
Become the Sun of your life,
Blaze your desire and let it glow;
But don't you dare give up
because even the Sun
after broiling all day long
goes down the horizon
as a picturesque sunset.
