Sunset Poem by Bartholomew Arkoh Boamah Sarbah

Sunset

At last the sun ages
Wandering birds get united with their nest
Bats and owls await their nightly flight
with the moths
As the night keepers get to their post

It is the perpetual love in your chest
that holds me longing absurdly
to unite with the capturer of my heart
And kiss your feet as your slave

It is the cherric cheek of your face
and the dimple in your jowl
that keeps me so obsessed
And makes me yearn for a reunion

My warm reception is from within
Let your shadow drape on us, Night
that in bright darkness
I shall commune with my paramour.

I like this poem a lot! Sounds rather 'soothing' to the heart!
