We were a sunrise
a beautiful sunrise
a site to see
pleasing to the eyes
i loved you, i wanted to belive you loved me too
but you crushed it all
ruined my world
when you decided to cheat

My heart was broken
my soul was torn
so i left you behind and tried to move forward
it wasnt easy,
it really hurt
but i did it and now i'm proud

we're a sunset
so beautiful to watch
but our relationship has ended
it was distraught
i wont be your lover and i cant be your friend
and yes i am finally saying this is the end

my heart is mended
my soul is found
its time to say buh-bye so long fair well
we were once a sunrise
but now our sun has finally set.
