Sunrise Poem by Ronald Chapman

Sunrise

O, hope!

Moon waves good day,

Day glows like a big morning star,

Where has Venus gone?

Cool morning breeze,

Fogs travel like warm ghosts,

Why does the cloud glow?

Fresh sunrise,

The colors rise like a warm Sun,

Oranges sail!
Pinks run!
Blues stay!
Whites move!

The morning travels like a clear yellow Sun,

Cold clouds fight the Sun,

Birds sing, open wings,
Roosters crow!

Looking up,

Hope, love, and life,

Fresh new day. Yay!
