Sunny Boy Poem by kenneth sigmund

Sunny Boy

Rating: 5.0

Sunny Boy Sunny Boy, carry me a while.
carry me sunny Boy with that gorgeous smile.

Sunny Boy teach me to emulate you.
To bear my own load, to follow it through.

There are no guaranties, you proved that to me.
Life's just what is given, every moment you see.

But you handled things Sunny Boy, with such valor and grace.
That surely dear Sunny Boy, in God's house theres a place.

So carry me Sonny Boy, carry me a while.
Carry me Sunny Boy, with that gorgeous smile.

In loving memory of James Burke Junior

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My nephew Jimmy was taken from us too early. Throughout his life there was always a smile on his face that would draw you to him.
Accepted life each day without complaints. And even through his sickness, he always had a manner that exuded strength.
