Sunlight Robbed Poem by Sonia Limas

Sunlight Robbed

Sunlight Robbed 2006
Yes, I have had many things
robbed of me
as a young girl my innocence
and only to have rebuild and resurrected
into a stronger woman
Now, I have built a love so great
Now, for it has slipped through my hands
and been taken from me
again...
Now, I have your life in my womb
Will I have that robbed of me also?
Only time will reveal this
Only a real love can heal this
I sit here on the outside
and wait for you
Now, Your in a place
where you cannot feel the warmth of my skin
your in a place
Where the sunlight is robbed.
