Sunlight Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Sunlight

Light in packets of quantum
Radiation in measures of random
Flares of flame in continuum
Bags of heat in multiples of a stadium
Nature harbors some miracles
They are giants of billions particles
Yet, they give man the sustenance
Those that refuse abstinence
The light is from the sun
Away from, we can never turn
I saw its ascent from room's corner
By noon it has become a burner
Evening time it receded
The descent was not applauded
Its disappearance was darkness
That, came with little likeness
Do not worry of the going of the sunlight
The next day brings a new bright light
