Sunday Morning Waking Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Sunday Morning Waking

Rating: 5.0

i always believe
in such moments
of family play

spending the most
beautiful time
now with the girls

my daughters

woke up to cuddle
laugh tickle
play with Rachael

who came next to me
filled my morning
with the sparkling glee

of a young daughters
joyful happiness
Kayla woke and good

mornings soon turned
to a pillow fight
between a father still

lying down
and two daughters
attacking

independently
also together
on his left

in curtained
darkness
laughter erupted

rippled
through
the room

to the recipe
of seven pillows
thrown

re-thrown
in targeted relies
of waking glee

as our world
woke
in childish unity
