Sunday Poem by Krista Cardwell

Sunday

Rating: 4.5

Warmth fills my soul as your presence overwhelms me

Calmness comes over me as I'm cleansed with clarity

Holy Spirit brings tears as I see only white

Sorrow departs me as joy and purity reunite

Finally I'm rebuilt to overcome another week

Leaving me with truth and more of you to seek

Beautiful piece of poetry, nicely penned with spiritual insight. The piece portrays exactly how I feel during and after Sunday Services. On the other hand, whenever I miss Sunday Service, I become oppressed with guilty conscience. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
