Sun Poem by Leopold Gunther

Sun

burn like flame, ignite like sun
your eyes shine like amber
your heart I once had won
your hair, vibrant like a golden metallic
you shine in the afternoon's vespertine
and in the earth's setting star
my blood boils and my heart seethes
the flame within me dances so sullenly
like an autumn leaf
my soul sways to the winds unyielding current
only to be carried away by loves final beckon
