Summer Time Poem by Mark Fahmy

Waking up so early today,
Realizing it's the beginning of a new day
Ran quickly to the window to see
A happy world in front of me.

Birds singing all the way,
Pronouncing the beginning of a new day
Young birds trying to fly,
Just to stick to the window & say 'Hi'

Tall trees shadowing the ground,
Where children play & dance around.
I could feel the joy in everyone's soul
I could hear many voices coming from the hall.

I walked through the hall reaching the other room,
I looked from the balcony to watch the flowers bloom.
I could see the beach far away
And Happy tourists enjoying their stay

Rays of the sun leaving its reflection on the sea
And other glowing rays fell on me
Blue skies lying high above
Wind spreading happiness and love!

I kept questioning why nature was so bright?
Why everything seemed perfectly right?
And why this poem could rhyme?
Then I realized that it's.... SUMMER TIME
