Summer Swim Poem by Nancy Chambers

Summer Swim

Rating: 5.0

The water is empty except for one
As I swim with the setting sun
Birds fly home to roost for the night
Soon the bats begin their flight
As the darkness quickly abounds
The bugs start a cacophony of sounds
Sand between my toes squishes
And I alone swim with the fishes
